Ultra-soundable models for practicing & demonstrating skill mastery.  A Sonosite ultrasound machine is available.

The paracentesis ultrasound module contains the right lobe of the liver, small bowel, and a variety of fluid pockets ranging in size from small, medium, and large.  Participants learn to use ultrasound to identify appropriate anatomy and to guide needle and catheter placements in the mid abdominal region in a patient with intraperitoneal fluid consistent with hemoperitoneum, ascites or other pathological scenarios.

Excellent training platform for teaching and learning ultrasound guided thoracentesis as well as placing large and small bore chest tubes without ultrasound guidance.

This trainer can be used for lumbar puncture as well as epidural anesthesia.  The realistic vertebral blocks can be exchanged to replicate normal, obese, geriatric and obese geriatric patients.

Shoulder, elbow, wrist, and knee models are available.  Shoulder, elbow and wrist models use LED technology to indicate correct/incorrect needle placement. 

Knee models can be aspirated.

Detailed computer graphics and responsive scopes enhance the realism of this trainer. 

Adult and pediatric airway trainers by Laerdal and TruCorp provide realistic visualization and intubation experiences.

In addition to the virtual reality trainer, a number of IV arms are available including adult and geriatric models.

The PROMPT pelvice with force monitoring is available as well as pelvic models without force monitoring.

A laparoscopic trainer from 3-D Med is available.  This trainer provides an opportunity to practice hand/eye coordination using instrumentation.

Auscultating normal and abnormal lung and heart sounds as well as manual blood pressures is possible with the Lecat Ventriloscope.  High quality sounds are transmitted wirelessly using a special stethescope.  This can be used with mannequins or standardized patients / actors.
