A variety of adult, pediatric and infant mannequins are available to enhance the learning experience.  Mannequins range in realism and complexity.   Contact the Clinical Simulation & Learning Center to arrange a demonstration or orientation to the mannequins. 

Three pediatric and two infant mannequins are available.
Hal 5-year-old: is a wireless/teatherless high-fidelity mannequin programmed by tablet computer.  He blinks, has reactive pupils, pulses, lung, heart, and bowel sounds, breathes, and can be intubated & defibrillated.  IVs and IO can be placed.

METI Peds:  is a high-fidelity tethered mannequin with additional features including drug recognition and CO2 monitoring (exhales CO2).

Laerdal Megacode Kid:  is a moderate fidelity mannequin that is very portable.  There is no eye opening, but the mannequin does have breath sounds and pulses. Instructors can easily program respiratory rate, heart rate, BP, and limited speech.

Infant Mannequins:  Laerdal Sim Baby and Gaumard Newborn HAL are high fidelity infant mannequins.  SimBaby is the size of a 6 month old, and Newborn HAL is smaller.  Newborn HAL has an umbilicus that can be catheterized.  Both mannequins can have IO devices placed.

Adult mannequins range from low to high fidelity.  
Noelle:  is a high fidelity birthing mannequin

Hal: is a high fidelity, wireless mannequin. He can be intubated & defibrillated.  His eyes open & pupils react to light.

METI HPS: is a high-fidelity tethered mannequin available within the Center. VS, CVP, PA, & Arterial line pressures can be displayed on actual monitors.  The mannequin exhales CO2

Laerdal SimMan: is a high fidelity mannequin that can be intubated and defibrillated. He does not blink.

Laerdal Megacode Kelly: is a moderate fidelity mannequin.

Tuff Kelly:  is a low fidelity, static  mannequin designed or positioning.
